Advent Light Day 19: The Good Day

I had a really good day today. Everything just kind of came together. I had two great opportunities to catch up with old friends, and I got both of my sermons for Sunday put together. And then this evening, my family traveled to see the Belvin Family Christmas lights display.

But that’s not the greatest part of today. I just felt good. I had no moments of depression or anxiety today. None. That’s so rare for me. That’s the best sign of Advent light, and I’m just going to leave it there. Today was a day when I felt mentally healthy. What a gift! So forget the “three things for the third week.” This is enough. God’s light was all around me today.

That’s where I saw the light of God today, the third Thursday of Advent.
